A personal code snippet manager built by a developer, for developers
Hi! I'm K M Rejowan Ahmmed, a Senior Android Developer with a passion for clean code and building tools that make developers' lives easier. Throughout my career, I've worked extensively with Android, Kotlin, Java, and mobile development, but I've always had a deep interest in exploring other technologies.
Like many developers, I found myself constantly copy-pasting code snippets between projects, sharing them via Gist, or hunting through old repositories to find that perfect utility function I wrote months ago. I needed a fast, clean alternative to GitHub Gist - something that felt more personal and tailored to my workflow.
That's when SnipUp was born. What started as a personal tool to solve my own snippet management needs quickly evolved into a full-stack portfolio project that showcases my skills beyond Android development.
This project showcases my ability to:
- Build modern web applications with Next.js and React
- Design clean, intuitive user interfaces
- Work with backend services and databases (Appwrite)
- Implement complex features like Monaco Editor integration
- Think about user experience and developer experience (DX)
- Ship complete, production-ready products
While Android development is my primary expertise, SnipUp proves I'm a versatile full-stack developer who can work across the entire technology stack - from mobile to web, frontend to backend.
