By accessing or using SnipUp, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of SnipUp following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Permission is granted to use SnipUp for personal and educational purposes. You may view, share, and copy public code snippets shared by other users for learning and development purposes. Under this license you may not:
- Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer the SnipUp platform software
- Use automated tools to scrape or mass-download content
- Remove copyright or attribution information from the platform
- Mirror or redistribute the SnipUp platform on another server
- Use the service for illegal activities or to distribute malicious code
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account and password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.
Your Content
You retain all rights to the code snippets and content you post on SnipUp. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content for the purpose of operating the service.
Prohibited Content
You agree not to post content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Is spam or unsolicited advertising
- Harasses, abuses, or threatens others
- Contains sensitive personal information
Code Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the code snippets you share. Ensure you have the right to share any code and that it doesn't contain sensitive information like passwords, API keys, or private data.
The service and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SnipUp and its licensors.
Our trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on the service are our property. You are not permitted to use these without our prior written consent.
Public Snippets: Snippets marked as public are visible to all users and may appear in search results and browse pages. Other users can view, copy, and learn from these snippets. By making a snippet public, you grant others the right to view and use the code for educational and development purposes.
Private Snippets: Snippets marked as private are only accessible to you when logged in. However, anyone with the direct link can view private snippets, so do not store sensitive information like passwords, API keys, or confidential data in any snippets.
The materials on SnipUp are provided on an 'as is' basis. SnipUp makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
Code snippets shared by users are their responsibility. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or quality of user-generated content.
In no event shall SnipUp or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use SnipUp, even if SnipUp or a SnipUp authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.
These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
